Greeks believed that from one thing another could be created. An example could be that from a dead body maggots will grow from nowhere after some days -
Lamarckism
"is the idea that an organism can pass on characteristics that it has acquired during its lifetime to its offspring" This means in less words "Evolution". The theory stablish that the parents of the organism pass some strong characteristics to the son. -
Darwinsm
This theory was proposed by Darwing.
It stablish that all species of organisms develop through the "Natural Selection" -
Biogenesis Theory
Louis Pasteur said that "living things come only from other living things". This refers that all the living things came from other form of life. -
Panspermia
This theory says that life could origin in outer space by "seeds" that are in all the universe. One of this seeds came in our planet making life possible -
Endosymbiotic
This talks about the evolution of the Eukaryote and Prokaryote organisms. The scientist found how cells evolve. -
Physical Chemical

Asteroid Extinction
This theory made by Luis Walter Alvarez says that the dinosaurs may have died by the impact of an asteroid. Some evidence was found in Mexico, it was of a large impact crater called Chicxulub. -
Vulcanism Theory
This theory says that the dinosaurs extinct by a massive explosion of a volcano. The explosion caused sulphuric acid, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and other volatiles to be ejected into the atmosphere where they caused climatic changes. -
Conclusion
Not all theories are correct, some were put out of the mind of the human because there where other theories more reliable, like spontaneous generation. Some other theories are correct and make us think about all the things that could happen in our world and the way we could develop and extinct.
