The Typewriter
Description: A machine for writing in characters similar to those produced by printers type by means of keyboard-operated types striking a ribbon to transfer ink onto the paper. Personal Insights: I have not tried using this stuff but I remember that I always watched a family member when they use this. I know how it works but I never got a chance to try it on my own. -
The Television
Description: A telecommunication medium used for transmitting sound with moving images in monochrome or in color. Personal Insights: A device which has different purposes. It may entertain and give information which leads people to get hooked at it. -
The Radio
Description: A technology that uses radio waves to carry information such as sound by systematically modulating properties of electromagnetic energy waves. Personal Insights: Radio has been working since then that people thinks it never gets old for they still uses this at present. With the new modifications, there are a lot of people who are fond of listening to this device. -
The Telephone
Description: A system used to send speech or data over distances that functions as the transmitter and the receiver. Personal Insights: A media that can be commonly found at homes that gives an access for information from long distances. Mostly used by the older generation nowadays for it is easy to be learned by them. -
The Computer
Description: An electronic device that manipulates information or data. It has the ability to store, retrieve and process data. Personal Insights: This tool has been a great help to everyone. It is one of the innovations which came to a huge success and it still being upgraded to satisfy the consumer's needs. -
The Projector
Description: An optical device that projects an image (or moving image) onto a surface, commonly a projection screen. Personal Insights: My companion since elementary which is a big help to my studies when I was younger. I used to watch movies in here and paved way to learn skills on electronic devices whenever it gets broken. -
The Printer
Description: A device for applying pressure to
an inked surface resting upon a print medium (such as paper or cloth), thereby transferring the ink. Personal Insights: For me, printers are very convenient especially for us students. This helps in fulfilling requirements which needs a hard copy and documents that needs to be tangible. -
The Laptop
Description: Often called a notebook because it is small and portable. Personal Insights: A device which is very handy that some student like me needs in order to accomplish tasks. It is efficiently used for educational purposes and helps in developing one's technology skills. -
The Social Media
Description: The collective of online communications channels dedicated to community-based input, interaction, content sharing and collaboration. Personal Insights: A powerful medium for communication and connecting to others that allows everyone to express thoughts. An innovation that is widely used whereas it requires everyone to apply proper etiquette when posting. -
The Smartphones
Description: A device with an integrated computer and other features not originally associated with telephones. It can run software applications. Personal Insights: This is one thing that I never forget to bring. Aside from a medium for communication, it is now a tool that helps in our education.
