Then came a splash of color
As the years went by adding color to the TV happened in 1954 (the rest of the date is Unknown). The TV systems did not only improve on its appearance but also on the quality. Digital TV

HD and wider screenTV's
(date unknown) Just when digital TV's were in the "now", introducing different dimensions of the TV shape was a new concept. The original TV format was 4 by 3, but was later swapped with the 16 by 9 frame format. Widening the screen also came with the benefit of HD as well.
