Chinese Fire Arrows
The Chinese created the first rockets by chance. They attached a tube full of gunpowder to a bamboo and lit it for a religious festival. Because of that, it gave them the idea to attach that to an arrow instead of bamboo. Henceforth, rockets were born.

Created by the German Verein fur Raumschiff Art Society for Space Travel,it was the first rocket built by alcohol and liquid oxygen. Thousand were made,but they were too late to affect World War Two.

The World’s First Artificial Satellite

Sputnik II was created two months after Sputnik I. It was the first rocket flown into space with a living passenger on it. It carved a path for mankind to follow.

Explorer 1
It was launched on 31st January and this is when United States entered into satellite-launching business. The rocket was small only weigh 13.95 kg. It made an important discovery about the environment in space.

Moon Rocket
The actually name of moon rocket was “Saturn V”, made by NASA after accepting the challenge from President John F. Kennedy to send an American to moon and come back safely. It had three stages: capsule with a small propulsion unit for the return trip, and a two-stage lunar lander.

SpaceShipOne became first private vehicle to cross the an altitude of 100 kilometers twice in fourteen day period. Launched by a mother ship, it allowed tourists and scientists to adventure into space.
