    The Chinese created the first rockets by chance. They attached a tube full of gunpowder to a bamboo and lit it for a religious festival. Because of that, it gave them the idea to attach that to an arrow instead of bamboo. Henceforth, Rockets were born.

  • Kazimierz Siemienowicz changed the view of rockets.

    Kazimierz Siemienowicz changed the view of rockets.
    He was a Polish-Lithuanian commander in the Polish Royal Artillery. He suggested some ideas that changed the view on rockets. For example, he thought that batteries should be used for military rocket launching and that the delta-wing stabilizers should be replaced by the guiding rods that were normally used.

    Goddard built and flew the world’s first propellant rocket. Although his flight was uneventful, it became the precursor to the Saturn V Moon rocket. He was the first scientist to realized the potentialities of both missiles and space rocket. He is know as " Father of modern rocket"

    It was launched on 31st January and this is when United States entered into satellite-launching business. The rocket was small only weigh 13.95 kg. It took 114.8 minutes to make one orbit around the looping earth.

    and required a scaffold platform nicknamed the “milk stool” to be
    placed on the pad designed for Saturn V rockets.
