In May of the 1840s BC they created the Penny Black stamp. Later other countries copied this. -

In 1847, they introduced a postal service that was limited and was 5 cents in charge. -
Letters Now Days
In 2013, people now write on paper with pencils or pens. The stamp to where the letter will be going and the address. They put it in a mailbox and send it is written to on the back.
