Atari 7800
Atari was slowly slipping out of the console market despite yet another undertaking in its latest system, the Atari 7800. Offered playing the classic games of the past. Not very succesfull agaisnt sega and nes at this time. -
Sega Genesis 2 and 3
Sega went on to expand it into a series, with the Genesis 2 (1994) and Genesis 3 (1997). During this time, there were also many other consoles likr Bandai, Casio and even Apple came up with their own consoles but none of them competed with seag at this time. -
Play Station 2
Sony progressed on with the next Playstation, the Playstation 2. Now that the industry is stabile, after decades of experimenting with all sorts of consoles, there were rarely any attempts by fresh companies. This meant Sony, Sega and others would take off. -
Xbox 360
Released in 2005 the xbox 360 has been at the top of the gaming market since and has boosted sales with the new xbox 360 slim and Kinect for 360. -
Play Station 3
Realesing in 2006 the PS3 challenged the Xbox 360 in sales with free online gaming. Realeasing the PS3 move in 2010 gave xbox and its Kinect a run for there money.
