A lot of things in the NBA have changed over time. The rules, teams, venues, even the jerseys and uniforms. The uniforms specifically, is something cool to look at. From the NBA’s beginning it was short shorts and tight jerseys with simple and plain designs, with basic lettering and numbering. Converse running shoes and no accessories, pads, or sleeves. Today, it is sparkly jerseys, cool logos, and design. Vintage uniforms are cool, uniforms of today are fresh.

There's not a lot of information about the first NBA three point contest, but the first contest was held in Dallas, TX. The winner of the contest was Larry Bird who was on the Boston Celtics.

Originally, there was no rule set on a number of players. But there would be too many people on the court so they had to make a rule. Now there is nine people that have to be on the court for each team, which is called (a starting lineup). Its became the mandatory size.

It all started from just a small game to one of the most popular sports in the United Stated and all around the world.

The very first slam dunk contest was won by Larry Nance Sr. of the Suns at the 1984 NBA All-Star Game. The current champion of the NBA Dunk Contest is Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz.

This league only lasted five years. James Naismith was instrumental in establishing college basketball. His colleague C.O. Beam is fielded the first college basketball team just a year after the Springfield YMCA game at the suburban Pittsburgh Geneva College.

On November 1, 1946 the Toronto Huskies hosted the New York Knickerbockers at maple leaf garden. The first ever basketball that made it into the net was made by Ossie Schectman on the Knickerbockers.
