The Googie style was a popular design in the United States and was main designed in making coffee shops, gas stations, and signs. The main characteristics are large, bright, and bold signs to draw in attention to. -

You can see that throughout the years of architecture it has changed a lot due to the people discoverying and using new technology. They start to use a lot more materials and tools to make the things they do now.
