    The war had an effect almost everywhere in the world. The war was not bad for Italy; as they got some land. However the aftermath of the war was devastating.

    After the war Italy did not recieve all of the land and resources as promised; and the economicar crisis was bad. The texes were unfair and the inflation rate was high.

    After the war; Mussolini knew that he had an oppertunity to take over. So he created the Fascist Party in Italy in March 1919. The party was ultranationalistic and wanted Italy's government to be the way it was in the Roman past.

    Italy was already in debt whe the great depression hit. The great Depression caused many large Italian banks to go bankrupt. Government intervention was required and eventually helped stabilize the market. (By 1937)

    Due to Musslini controling Italy; they allied with the "Axis Power" which was made up of; Italy, Nazi Germany, and Japan. The Axis Powers were against the Western World and the Soviet Union.

    The King and the Grand Council of Italy realized the Facism is not whats best for Italy; and on July 25th; Benito Mussolini was voted out of power and was arrested.
