    The sons of liberty were a group of Americans patriots who resisted and protested against British rules. Especially the stamp act, they would use violence against tax collectors.

    It was tax put on the American colonies by the British. They had to pay a tax on all printed material. Colonies had to buy paper from the Britain that had a stamp on it to show they paid the tax.
