Men dressed as Indigenous Americans, board EITC ships and discard 342 chests of tea into the Boston harbor, as a form of protest against Brittan. -
The Coercive Acts
The Coercive Acts of 1774, are acknowledged as a series of four laws passed by British Parliament to Direct and reprimand the colony of Massachusetts Bay for the acts committed during the Boston Tea Party. -
First continental congress meets
Between September 5 and October 26, 1774, The First Continental Congress met with involving Delegates from twelve of the thirteen American colonies to discuss America's future under growing British aggression, as it seemed vital in a continuous discussion. -

The Second Continental Congress met in May 1775. A month after shots had been fired at Lexington and Concord
raising Congress to prepare for war. -
Declaration of independence is adopted
on July 4th, 1776, the declaration of independence was engrossed on parchment, leading to August 2nd, 1776, when delegates began to sign it. leading to the initial constitutional adoption, of an independence statement towards Brittan, declaring America to be an independent country. -
Treaty of Paris is signed
A treaty is signed between the colonial Americas and great Brittan, leading to the end of the American revolution. -
3/5 compromise
Three-Fifths Compromise reached state delegates during 1787 in the Constitutional Convention. It determined that three out of every five slaves counted when determining a state's total population for legislative representation and taxation. -
Constitutional convention
A Constitutional Convention met in Philadelphia between May 25th, and September 17th of 1787, addressing the problems of the central government that existed under the Articles of Confederation, and issues of revision. -
Great Comprimise
Sherman's compromise, adopted on July 16, 1787 by a vote of five states to four, provided a bicameral federal legislature using dual system of representation. -
Constitution is rattified
Originally Written in 1787, the constitution was ratified in 1788, put into operation within 1789, Its first three words – “We The People” – representing the ratification and constitutional acceptance into and within congress. -
Bill of Rights is adopted
By December 15, 1791, joint House and Senate Conference Committee settle remaining disagreements President Washington sends copies of the 12 amendments to the states. ratifying 10 of these, known as the “Bill of Rights.”
