    The stamp act was a tax enforced on colonists by the brits. It led to a peaceful resolution.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    Late one afternoon British soldiers were protecting the Boston customs house. Due to previous tension and the murder and pardon of Christopher Seider, the soldiers shot into a crowd of colonists killing 5 and injuring 6 and two of those being permanent injuries.

    A group of colonist, after being angered by the increasing tea taxes, decided to push multiple chests of tea into the Boston Harbor.

    A political group founded by John Hancock and Samuel Adams. The Sons of Liberty were responsible for multiple protests but mainly well known for the Boston tea party.

    Battle of Yorktown
    The battle of Yorktown is where the Americans secured their victory of the American Revolution. They surrounded the brits and this led to negotiations and the Treaty of Paris 1783.
