    This war pitted the American colonies and Great Brittan against the French and they both had some native Americans helping them fight. A theater of the 7 year war.

    This was to help pay for British troops stationed in the colonies. The colonists had to pay a tax on certain items, such as paper, or playing cards

    Was a loosely organized political organization active in all 13 colonies and founded to advance the rights of colonists and to fight taxation.

    Measures passed by the British Parliament that taxed imported goods to American Colonies. Colonists with no say in the Parliament saw this as an abuse of power.

    The Boston massacre is an encounterment in Boston which 9 soldiers kill 5 out of 300 to 400 people in a crowd because the crowd was abusing and insulting the soldiers

    "No taxation without representation" The Boston Tea Party was a political protest it occurred at Griffins Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts. They dumped a lot of tea out of a boat.

    American victory against British in a 3-week battle. It was the decisive engagement in the revolution, the British surrendered and the birth of the United States of America happened.

    Treaty was signed between the American colonies and Great Britain. This concluded the American revolution, and officially recognized the United States as an Independent nation.

    Every enslaved American would be counted as 3/5ths a person for taxation and regulation purposes. The southern states gained more electoral power after this.
