Coercive Acts were 4 laws made by the British to punish Massachusetts for the Boston Tea Party. The Boston Port Act, the Massachusetts Government Act, the Administration of Justice Act, and the Quartering Act. -

The Battles of Lexington and Concord were between the Kingdom of Great Britain and 13 colonies in America. The British wanted to suppress the rebellion by taking the colonists weapons. -

Battle of Yorktown
French and American forces trapped British at Yorktown. While Cornwallis surrendered to George Washington. -
3/5 Compromise
The 3/5 Compromise was an agreement between delegates from the Northern and Southern states. Saying that slaves should be counted as 3/5 of a person. -
Great Compromise
The Great Compromise was an agreement that the American government would have two houses in congress. The agreement was between the large and small states.
