Declaration of Independence
This document was the initial written statement informing all people that these states were now free from any rule of teh British Crown. -
Continental Congress agrees on the Articles of Confederation
The Articles of Confederation outlined the states power but also demonstrated a very weak federal governement and the need for a court system. -
Congress of the Confederation
This was the representative body that successfully followed the Continential Congress. -
Revolutionary War ends
This marked the victory over Britian and English rule. Freedom for the states. -
Treaty of Paris
This agreement officially ended the war and stated that the US states were now free from Britian's rule. -

Allows women to legally make decisions on abortions under the 14th amendment.
