    The cause of the war was that the English colonists want to expand west but the french and indians resist. The French and Indian war lasted seven years.     It was created after the seven years war it prevented the colonists to move past an imaginary line than ran down the appalachian mountains. The colonies did not like the proclamation because it prevented them from moving west even though they had fought the french and indian war themselves.
