Because of this, many changes happened in the United States. A major impact that 9/11 had was the people were scared to fly. Also, many new laws were passed including the Patriot Act. 9/11 was the worst thing that ever happened in the United States.

This was very significant in battle. One time, the MASH was able to save 600 people from dieing. After it was discontinued, the Combat Support Hospital was created.

    The US government took notice of the tax issue and changed the law. Now, people would pay taxes based on their income. If a family makes 70,000 and loses about 35% of that due to taxes, it is barely enough to raise a family. With the law being changed, the poor have to pay less taxes but the wealthy pay more taxes. The more money you had, the more taxes you had to pay.

    A man discovered a possible treatment for AIDS which could help over 30 million people. The doctor said he used s technique which rendered T-cells which were resistant to HIV. Other people in the medical profession said it was the greatest breakthrough in the recent years. If enough money is funded for this treatment, many people worldwide could be cured of the AIDS virus.

    Seal team 6 killed Osama Bin Laden in his house in Pakistan. Bin Laden was the leader of Al-Qaeda and he was responsible for many terrorist attacks including 9/11. The man-hunt for Bin Laden lasted for over 10 years and he was finally captured, shot multiple times, and then thrown into the ocean. The USA was in great relief after the news came out and after ten years, people felt safe.

    A twenty year old named Adam Lanza shot and killed twenty kids between the ages six and seven. Also, Lanza killed his mother and five adults before and during the shooting. Lanza was mentally disabled and could not control his actions and had no thought process during the massacre. Also, Lanza had a rough childhood full of bullying and he grew up playing violent games. This was an awful event which could have been prevented.

    During the Boston Marathon, a set of bombs went off near the finish line which killed 3 racers and injured about 250 more. The people behind this were brothers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev. One was killed shortly after and the other brother was killed in a shoot off the next day. This event created major worry around the country.

ISIS claimed responsibility for this attack. The men were at a party for work when they started to shoot. President Obama delivered a major speech about terrorism after this event.

This is another example of discrimination in the United States. People believe that if you do not believe in what they do, you are wrong and they are right.
