In may of 1924, Hoover became acting director of the Bureau of Investigation. By the end of 1924, he officially became director (the head of the FBI). During the 20th century, Hoover personally shaped the American criminal justice system in to FBI we know today. -

Mein Kampf was an autobiographical manifesto written by Adolf Hitler himself in 1925. Mein Kampf, meaning "My Fight", explained how Hitler became antisemitic and told a bit about his future plans for Germany. -
Stock Market Crash Begins Great Depression
The Stock Market Crash lead to the beginning of the Great Depression. The Stock Market Crash left 25 percent of the population jobless, as well as the banks not having the money the people needed. Not having money and being jobless would generally lead to a huge economic crisis. -
The Dust Bowl Begins
Caused by drought, high temperatures, and poor agricultural practices, the Dust Bowl began in the 1930's. Around the Oklahoma area, the strong winds blew up the top soil and dirt from farm lands. Having a drought along with little to no knowledge about agricultural practices, created a lot of dry dirt and dust along the plains. The severity of the wind and dust quickly formed together to create a dust blizzard. Not only did this destroy houses it also lead to the death of many humans and cattle. -
