British Germans and Canadians were involved.
Launched attack by realising deadly gas. Canadians were smart to pee of rags and put them against their mouths to keep the gas from entering their lungs.
Canadians were appreciated for thinking of that method. -

Woman’s rights were remained throughout the war. (1914-1918)
Politicians started paying more attention to woman’s issues.
Woman finally began to enter politics and public life.
Woman got the vote. -
Canada’s Top Flying Aces
Canadian airmen served in the British flying services during the Great War.
Many of them entered service by volunteering for the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force.
Top flying Aces like Roy Brown and Billy Bishop, were highly respected as amazing fighter pilots who are proudly Canadian. -
Battle of Vimy Ridge
North France, Vimy Bridge
The battle showed patriotism and is one of Canada's greatest achievements.
The Canadian's used new strategies and methods that lead them to conquer the ridge.
Arthur Currie trained the Canadian soldiers the strategy of the “creeping barrage” which then led to Canada’s success in taking over the ridge.
The over taking of the ridge made the Canadians feel confident and proud.
