The time he killed was 11 am. Him and his wife was gonna go see the people that were hurt when a bomb was throw from hours ago. But this was before maps were made. So as they were driving they took the wrong turn and their was a drunk guy coming out a bar and shot them. Ferdinand and his wife was shot lead bleed out of their death and their killer is Gravrilo Princip . -

The trench warfare
During ww1 dug holes to protect these holes were called trenches.These holes dug over 6-8 feet deep and over 440 miles. It was also dug from the English channel all the way to Switerland. -
Militarism on Trench warfare
In militarism trench warfare the men had to do dangerous things, like they had to in held toxic gas with some bad gas mask. They also ran through no man's land which is very dangerous to do and when they would run through no man's land had sharp weapons and guns with them.When they aren't fighting they had something call troops to sleep in and hide in. -
The christmas truce
When christmas came around they had stopped fighting with each other and started hanging with each other. How they hung out was that they play card games, cut each other's hair ,and said marry christmas to each other. -

Battle of verdun/ The west front .
This war the bloodies and longest war. Also lasting about 4 years. The casualties for French were over 400.000 and German was about 350.000. The deaths came about 300.000. Why did this all started it was that engangment in which french repulsed a major witch German got offensive . -

After the ww1 do the damages. Some men added 9 new nations to the map like fineland,austria, czecholouaka ,yugoslavia ,poleland,hungary,latvia,lithuanla,and estonia. -

After war there were about 9 million deaths after that there were millions of refuges,and their was also poor living conditions. -
The Home fronts
In the home fronts they talk about how they didn't had that many things. Do to short food supply,oil ,and more.When the men were away women had to start working. Women would work as doctors , nures, and more. Also kids also had to start working. They would be working as divers that help care for the men. There were also boy scouts that help grow veggies in a garden. When the men are at war they have dogs that will help them carry things for them. -
Germany Agreement
So they were the first that started and they also agreed to pay the damages when the war was over. But here's the thing they couldn't pay it to do to how it cost. The cost was around $55.000.000.00. So things got limted the like troops and joining the army for them. Then treaty of versailla was signed on june 28th 1919 and offcially ended ww1.
