The proclamtaition closed off the colonies from settling west.
In other words the british did this because the native americans felt afraid they would lose their land to the colonists.
The colonists felt that the britsh were trying to keep the pent up so they can be easily controlled. -
Sugar act
The sugar act renewed in the proclomation caused the colonists to pay six pence more for sugaar and molasses. but because of the law the colonists mostly evaded the taxes. This and most other acts enacted by the british parlement were to control the colonies and make them pay there taxes more often. -
currency act
The currency act was made too prevent confusion petween the colonies trade and the british trade and to give britain the control over the currency in the colonies. the british prefered using hard currency and rsorted to the pence. -
The stamp act
The british passed this act to exempt the colonies of more money by making them pay more for stamps. -
The quartering act
An act of punishing mutiny and desertion. It also instructs citizens to allow quarters for soldiers, the colonists were not allowed to reject soldiers in there house. -

Boston massacre
The bosrton massacre was an event that set the revolutionat=ry war into motion. colony citizens were rioting throwing sticks stiones and snowballs at a squad of british soldiers. the soldiers fired on the citizens killing 3 and wounding 8 others 2 of which later died of the wound. -
