Battle of Saratoga
Burgoyne, St. Ledger, and Howe meet at Saratoga and outnumber the patriots. The British win the Battle of Saratoga and the patriots are forced to retreat. They suffer enormous losses in supplies and troops and their general, Horatio Gates, is killed in battle. -
British Victory of the Revolutionary War
The French refuse aid to the patriots. Without help they continuously lose battles until the Battle of Philadelphia, where they are forced to surrender. The leaders of the revolution are taken of prisoners of war and The Revolutionary war is won by England. -
Bank of America Shut Down
The Bank of America is rejected by Great Britain. People all rush to withdraw their money before the bank is closed. All accounts are closed and the money is lost. All finances are now controlled by the Crown. -
Slavery is Legalized
The northern original colonists protest against slavery. Now ruled by the Crown the colonists have no say in the matter. After small protests Great Britain legalizes it in all of the New British Colonies. -
British-French War
Britain tries to buy the Louisiana territory. The French refuse to sell them the territory, Eager to expand his empire King George III declares war on the French to acquire the territory to the west of his to British colonies. His subjects oppose the war and disagree with his decision to fight the French. -
Peace Negotiations
After the death of his father, King George IV ends the war between the British and the French in favor of the people. An armistice is signed and the French agree to start peace treaty negotiations. -
French and British Treaty
France and Britain end negotiations and sign a peace treaty. The peace treaty returns all POWs back to their home country safely and ends all hostilities betwen the two countries. The countries agree to aid each other in event of war. -
Natives and British Treaty
With the Native Americans alone in the Louisiana territory the king decides to sign a peace treaty between the British and the Natives. The treaty agrees to have both parties stay out of their respective territories. -
Start of the First World War
Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sofia are assassinated by a Serb and Yugoslav Nationalist. With an ultimatum delivered to the Kingdom of Serbia, all of the international alliances were put in place and most major powers were pulled into a war. -
End of the First World War
After the surrender of its weaker allies, a mutiny at home, and the lack of resources Germany was forced to seek an armistice. When the armistice was signed the war was officially over. -
Treaty of Versailles is Signed
The Treaty of Versailles is signed by all. It declares the punishments the Germans should receive for all things they did during the war. The German Government was forces to sign or the war would be resumed. The British Empire joins the League of Nations.
