  • Referral is Put In

    Parents my put in a referral for their child or the school may put in a referral for the student after alerting the parents.
  • Determination of Referral

    The school will determine whether the student can be helped using services which are already provided or whether additional information/evaluations are required.
  • Disposition of Referral Meeting

    Disposition of Referral Meeting
    A written account of the referral meeting will be sent to the parents no more than 15 days after the referral meeting occurs. If additional evaluation is required, the disposition will include a consent form to conduct these evaluations.
  • Parents consent to Evaluation

    Parents consent to Evaluation
    Parents must consent to evaluation before evaluations can take place.
  • Initial Evaluation Completed

    Initial Evaluation Completed
    The initial evaluation must be completed within 60 days of parental consent.
  • Evaluation Can be Extended 15 Days

    Evaluation Can be Extended 15 Days
    Initial Evaluation may be extended up to 30 days.
  • IEP Meeting/ IEP is Developed

    Within 30 days of eligibility the school must develop an IEP team and begin developing an IEP for the student.
  • Parents receive Written notice of IEP Meeting

    Parents must receive a written notice of an IEP meeting no less than 10 days before the meeting is to occur annually.
  • IEP Meeting with Parents

    Parents will meet for annually to discuss updated IEP.
