Martin Behaim was a cartographer that made the first globe. The map was incorrect because it did not have all of it continents and the continents were shaped wrong. Martin Behaim called it the ''Earth Apple.'' -

Balboa's plan was to find if Vespucci was right. He sailed to Isthmus of Panama. He discovered a big ocean that will be called '' Pacific Ocean'' and clamed the ocean for Spain. -

Magellan's plan was to find a way to reach Asia by sailing west around the Americas. He sailed to Brazil, along South Amercias eastern coast, Strait of Magellan, Phillipine Island and back to spain. He named a new ocean ''Pacific.'' HE SAILED AROUND THE WORLD. Found a route by sailing west. -

Cortes has been sent from the Spanish government to look for gold ,and he brought with him 500 soldiers, 14 cannons, 16 horses and several dogs. He went to present day Mexico and defeated the Aztecs. -
