Meeting of diggers to point the acgnital and resulting in the pub burning down.

Diggers met to protest and the arrests of 3 miners for burning down the pub, the licences and voting rights. The Ballarat reform league was founded.

Meeting held at the Eureka flag raised for the first time. Burning of the their licences.

Miners met up again for another burning of the licence. Peter Lalor got them to start building the stockade.

The Eureka Stockade was on December the 3rd, 1854 in Ballarat, Victoria and lasted only 20 minutes.

Early hours of training the Stockade. Police and military. 22 miners and 5 soldiers dies during the 20 minute battle.

It was caused by disagreement between the gold diggers and the police. They thought that the law was unfair and they were ready to fight for their rights.

After the Eureka Stockade the miner rebellion was defeated by the Victorian Authorities. 125 miners taken to prison, many were badly wounded and a least 22 died, as well as 6 of the police troopers were killed.
