Unhappy miners
The miners were unhappy with the unfair laws that miners could not own land and the cost of mining licences. -
150 diggers start the Eureka Stockade
300 troopers and police attacked the stockade and 6 were killed, there were also 22 fatalities within the diggers. There was 113 taken into police custardy and 13 were taken for trials. -
