Cuba is now full of poverty with an unemployment rate of 72%. Corruption is prevalent due to the fact of it's previous leaders who were Fidel Castro and Che Guevara

    Malaysia had been colonized for by 3 countries first the portuguese in 1511, next the dutch in 1641, and then the british in 1824. Malaysia was being used for its resources, and was being forced western values by the colonizers, but they only gained Independence on August 31 1957. Malaysia now is doing well for itself, as they have a gdp of $373 Billion dollars. It still has problems like poverty, corruption, and shortage of workers.

    The consequences of colonization had left the philippines with a loss of culture, westernisation to fit its standards, and change of values to western standards. The Philippines had become a poor nation right after it had gained independence in 1898. The philippines now suffer through high poverty rate, lack of education, and low salaries across the entire nation.

    Indonesia had been colonized by the netherlands in 1816. The dutch had used Indonesia as a way to be in the spice trade by developing sugar factories in order to make profit. Indonesia has a gdp of over $1 trillion by Petroleum and crude oils that lie in the ocean.

    The colonizers that landed in New Zealand were in search to make any money either by seal skins, timber, New Zealand flax (genus Phormium), or whaling. New Zealand became really successful with western values and was able to establish a stable economy as a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system. It has a GPP of $250 Billion dollars by tourism, manufacturing, and a strong geothermal energy resource base.

    Imperialism had left china in a state of constant war. The start of the opium wars, and many revolts later the country is in shambles until the end of ww2 Right now China is overpopulated and polluted, but alongside with that it has a gdp of $17.73 Trillion dollars.

    The effects of imperialism had restricted India from industrializing and prospering as a nation. India now has the 4th strongest army in the world, has a gdp of 3.176 trillion, but has a high poverty rate. Some parts of india are polluted and overpopulated.

    When Vietnam was being colonized, it was being used for its land, and resources for personal gain in France. It had been under french rule for 68 years before finally gaining Independence in 1945. After making some reforms in 1985, the economy has been doing okay, but with growing tension with the rich and the poor.
  • Egypt

    The consequences of Imperialism had left egypt with many problems like loss of culture, westernisation, low level of education and no sort of health care. Some of the problems that Egypt is facing right is an increasing population, increasing poverty rate, and low employment of the youth.

    When the Congo was being colonized it was first occupied by france, and then belgium. The Congo was held as private land by King Leopold II. half of the locals died because of either malnutrition or punishment. After the effects of Imperialism the congo is somewhat steady. It has a High crime rate and some corruption with a GDP of $55.35 Billion

    When the British were in Sudan, they had created a divide between the nation. Where they would control a side of the country. Sudan has a high crime rate and high corruption rate. It is not a safe country to be in if you are a tourist. It is ranked the 3rd least peaceful country on the continent.

    Britain had forced the locals to work in infertile land or made them work in european owned farms or plantations. They had been used just for labor purposes for any european nation. Kenya could not recover after gaining Independence,as they have a high corruption rate, high crime rate, and low level of education
