Stagnation versus Generativity
Dad, Age 46, has two younger children, whom he treats very differently than when the rest of us were that age. He nurtures and mentors them, and actually cares for them. The conflict in this stage is generativity in providing for younger ones versus stagnation and the feeling of failure if not providing this mentoring.
