  • Stage 6: Intimacy vs. Isolation

    Stage 6: Intimacy vs. Isolation
    Aster (26) and Will (28) get married because they feel ready to take the next step in their relationship by sharing a life together. Crisis: the crisis in stage six is intimacy vs. isolation. during this stage a person can choose to form close relationships with people, they will be rewarded with love if they choose to be close with people but if not they will face isolation. with isolation a person can feel like an outsider and experience depression.
  • Stage 7: Generativity vs. Stagnation

    Stage 7: Generativity vs. Stagnation
    Aster and Will welcome their firstborn baby into the world. They wanted a family to raise to continue their legacy by raising a good-natured child who will do great things for their community. Crisis: in this stage the crisis is choosing to leave behind something good in the world, to leave your mark on the community. some people do that by raising a family. by not choosing generativity a person can end up feeling unproductive and may feel unfulfilled in life.
  • Stage 8: Integrity vs. Despair

    Stage 8: Integrity vs. Despair
    Aster stands in front of Will's grave after receiving news from the hospital that she is expected to have 6 months to live. She looks back on their life spent together and is at peace with the life she lived. Crisis: for this stage, a person is nearing the end of their life and some find that the life they lived to be fulfilling and successful. others fall into despair either because they have many regrets or haven't come to terms with dying since they didn't live the life they wanted.
