    Middle Childhood: Industry vs. Inferiority
    At age 6, Molly McQueen was cast to dance a lead solo in a ballet performance. In Erikson's fourth stage Industry vs. Inferiority, this crisis is involved her completing a task which demonstrated skill accomplishment and a sense of competency and pride (Industry), as opposed feeling a lack of self-confidence (Inferiority).
  • Adolescence: Identity vs. Identity Confusion

    At age 12, Molly McQueen spent her first summer away from home and attended a summer camp where she established new friendships and became confident in her actual self. According to Erikson's fifth stage, Identity vs. Identity Confusion, this crisis includes the development of a secure sense of self (Identity) or not having a coherent understanding of ones identity and independence (Identity Confusion).
  • Early Adulthood: Intimacy vs. Isolation

    Early Adulthood: Intimacy vs. Isolation
    At age 19, Molly McQueen said yes to becoming engaged and committing to a life long relationship. In Erikson's sixth stage Intimacy vs.Isolation, this engagement was the capstone in maintaining a strong relationship with her significant other (Intimacy) rather than failing to establish a committed relationship and resulting in loneliness (Isolation).
