    On March 24th, 1989, the Exxon Valdez oil tanker collided with a reef and spilled millions of gallons into the ocean. As a result, many marine life and birds were affected and later died. This was the 2nd largest oil spill in all of history, only toppled today by the BP oil spill.

    The BP Oil Spill occurred on April 20th, 2010. This was the largest oil spill of all time and caused many marine life and birds as well to die. It took nearly a month to finally cause the spill to stop, and the public was shocked as to how this could have occurred.
