My life began

During my childhood I learned the basic English in Public Schools in Puerto Rico.

My family and I moved to New York
I didn't understand the English Language that well. -
I returned to Puerto Rico
Since I was exposed to the English Language for a year, I was able to read, write and understand the Language. -
I decided to expand my horizons

I returned to NewYork and went to High School
While living in Puerto Rico I realized that I wanted to go back to New York, because I liked the experience that I had living there. So I return to New York and I enrolled at Emerson High School in which I graduated. This experience gave me the opportinity to develop the English language, because I was being exposed to the language day by day. -
I worked for UPS
Knowing the language gave me many opprtunities in New York. -
Moved back to Puerto Rico
After Hurricane Hugo I moved back to Puerto Rico, to be with my mother, because I was worried about her. -
I enrolled to UNE
Living in Puerto Rico weren't that many opportunities like in U.S. I decided to enroll to college and obtain a degree. -
I graduated with a BA in Administration with concentration in Office Systems

I teached Computer Courses in John Dewey College
Since I was being exposed in teaching terms of technology in English, this esperience awoke in me an interest in becoming an English Teacher. -
Since then I have been working as a English Teacher for the Department of Education of Puerto Rico

I enrolled to Interamerican University
Completed credits to obtain a BA in Education with a Minor in English as a Second Language. -
Began courses to obtain a Certification as a Bilingual Teacher
With "Universidad del Sagrado Corazon" and Notre Dame University, Universities allied, I will prepare myself to become a better Bilingual Teacher. God has blessed me in my path to develop my skills and my knowledge in the English Language.
