Passage 6:
George and Lennie have had a dream since the day they met. George promises Lennie they will do many things together when they grow up, but George knows this will not happen when he is holding a gun behind Lennie. Obviously, Lennie has done something wrong with many angry people after him and George only wants to protect him.
