    The first every known veterinarian was in 9,000 BC sheep herders use to use rudimentary medical skills to help the animal including the dogs that had watched over the sheep. Even though medical treatment was around it didn't become popular until 4,000- 3,000 BC.

    In 1912 a new building had to be built because there was not enough space for students and clinic workers. Veterinary school had to share a four-story building with Botany Hall. In 1912 they also began to store specimens were preserved with embalming fluids .
  • Epact of war and great depression on veterinary

    During war many schooling building ( veterinary school buildings) was used as training camps and which then 1/4 of people who was studying at veterinary school joined the military while others waited to get in.
    also many people was unenrolling themselves and the people who actually worked as veterinarians was telling the newer staff there's no future in the career.
  • Expansion of veterinary work after war

    After war the want to study veterinary medicine grew. Most people who wanted to study veterinary was soldiers who had fought in the war which was people who was older and more mature. The people who graduated in 1938 was the first every people to graduate in the new building.

    Around this time world war 2 was happening which did have a big effect on dogs/animals food and medical safety, because there was new drugs made for the soldiers that was then later used on live stock.   • Animal welfare act

    In 1966 the Animal welfare Act was passed which is an act that regulates the research on animals in research and exhibition. Other law that include other species coverage or specifications for animal care but all animals are covered in the animal welfare act. /Animal_Welfare_Act_of_1966

    In 1973 the CVTEA called the AVMA committee for animal technicians at the time and then later was renamed committee on animal technical and at this time there were only 5 schools.
  • Committee of veterinary education

    Overall balance nationally the supply and demand in private practice but there was a slight shortage of teachers and a lot of the didn't that was used was not actually medicine mostly they used herbal medicine and sometimes prayer.
  • Technological advancements in veterinary work field

    Over the time technology has advance a lot, Now you may do ultra scans and laparoscopy which was only supposed to use on humans but now you can do it on animals which is very helpful. There is also wear-able devices in which can track heart rate body temperature ,PH etc..
