    Founding of Ming dynasty

    Ming Taizu founded the Ming Dynasty it caused the continuation of many Mongol practices. It included many areas of the Song Dynasty as well as Manchuria, Inner Mongolia, Xinjang, and Tibet.

    Portuguese capture Cueta, starting an empire

    A Portuguese fleet of 200 ships assembled in the Algarve port of Largos and conquered Ceuta, Morrocco. This was the inspiration for the creation of the Portuguese empire.

    Mexica start conquering an empire

    The Mexica launched a series of conquests that created the empire and by 1500, 450 altepetl had been conquered.

    End of Zheng He's voyages

    These treasure voyages began in 1405 and lasted until the Ming government suspended the voyages to focus on building the Great Wall.
