    I was halfway into my kindergarten year when I began reading the book Green Eggs and Ham. I would read the book to my younger brother often.

    By first grade, i was hooked on the book series, Junie B. Jones. My mom bought me a new bead for my necklace every time i finished a book on my own.

    In my English class in sixth grade, we read the book The Giver. This was my first book that i read that was not strictly a children's genre. I found the book to be captivating.

    Towards the end of my sixth grade year, i became very interested in the Twilight book series. I loved reading them.

    My freshman year of high school posed a difficult time for me. We began reading books where i was expected to see deeper meaning than just what the story told. I had never done this before and it is still something that i sometimes struggle with.

    I was one year out of high school, and one semester completed of college. I refound my love for reading and i began reading regularly on my tablet.
