NC Carries out 1000th Execution
In 1977, executions once again resumed in the United States. On December 2nd, 2005, Kenneth Lee Boyd became the 1000th person to be executed in the United States since the death penalty was reinstated. He was executed in Raleigh, North Carolina for the 1988 murder of his estranged wife and her father. Link to News Article -
Joined Middle School Band
In 2008, I began playing the trumpet in the middle school band. I used a hand-me-down trumpet, the same one my dad played in middle and high school band when he was a kid. I was third chair in PEP band and 5th chair in 6th grade band. -

NC Governor Perdue Vetoes State Budget
