    First Woman's Rights Convention
    Elizabeth organized the first woman's rights convention at Seneca Falls,NY. She co-authored the Declaration of Sentiments, modeled on the Declaration of Independence, which included the demand for voting rights for women. This was a huge issue and back then it made a huge impact on the woman's rights movement.
  • Women's New York State Temperance Society

    Women's New York State Temperance Society
    Elizabeth met Susan B. Anthony about a year before, in 1852 they (with several others) founded the Women's New York State Temperance Society. This society advocated for women to have the right to vote and leave their drunken husbands.
  • The Women's Loyal National League

    The Women's Loyal National League
    This was another organization formed by Elizabeth and Susan, they worked a lot together throughout the years Susan would do the traveling and Elizabeth stayed home to attend her family. What the Women's Loyal National League was all about was to end the American Civil War through an amendment to abolish slavery. They were able to collect about 400,000 signatures.

    The first International Council of Women (ICW)
    Elizabeth Cady Stanton helped organize an international Women's council which was located in Washington, D.C. This Council included of nine countries(England, Ireland, France, Norway, Denmark, Finland, India, Canada, and the United States), this was to create a national council for human rights, equality, and women's involvement in all aspects.
