Directed at trade between England and Colonies, The couldn't use Foreign ships for trade and couldn't send certain products. Colonist got around this by illegaly smuggling goods. -
Proclamation of 1763
Set Appalachian mountains as a temporary western boundry for colonies. Colonist and speculators who owned land west of the Appalachians became furious. -
Sugar act
Lowered the taxes on impoted molasses. Let officers seize good from smugglers without going to court. Colonist became mad. -
Stamp act
Placed a tax on almost al printed goods. Patliament texing colonist directly. Also taxed without consent placed a resolution. -
Declaratory act
Stated that Parliament had the right to tax and make decisions for British colonies in all cases. This Angered the Colonist. -
Townshend act
A tax on only imported goods. By this time any British tax Angered Colonist. They Organized a boy cott. -
Tea act
Let company sell tea directly to shope keeprs and bypassers rather tahn colonial merchants who normally distributed tea. New boy cott by colonists. -
Coecive Acts
Harsh laws inted to punish Massachusetts people for resisting British laws. This took away certain righs Colonist paid for ruined tea because they closed the british harbor. -
Quebec Act
Set up Quebec goverment also gave them west of the Appalachin Mountins and Northbof Ohio river. Colonist expressed feelings in their name for new laws.
