Extension of Rights
The Electronic Communicationss Act of 1986 extended the previous laws that were already in place that dealt with wire tapping phones. Now it would include transmissions sent through computers and other devices. I give this a C because it sounds nice but the government still got all the information they needed if they wanted it.

Obamas proposed policy would give consumers more control on how their information is used by the companies who collected it. I would give this a C because I dont know exactly how this will effect privacy in the future.
