    The executor is the centre Terre et Pierre (CTP). The project is strengthening research, technological development & innovation in Europe nowadays to achieve the goal of recycling 70% of waste from construction. The project duration is 01/2016 - 12/2020. The researchers used modern technology to subdivide construction waste into recyclable (recycled sands and aggregates) or usable materials for the benefit of nature and society.

A project based in the United Kingdom-France cross-channel region has designed, produced and tested three thermal insulation materials for buildings made from agricultural co-products and recycled raw materials. The SB&WRC project selected maize pith, wheat straw and polyester from old duvets. The project team analysed the lifecycles of each prototype product and their economic and industrial potential. The project duration is 01/2017 - 09/2019.
