    From 4500 BCE to 4000 BCE. The Sumer people see the rise of cities because of prosperity due to the fertile crescent. Irrigation systems help with agriculture.

    Born 1592 to 1672. Stuyvesant worked with Dutch West India company. He eventually became the director in colonies of Aruba and Bonaire. He traveled to the New World in 1647.

    Rolfe helped the Virginia Colony prosper by planting tobacco seed.

    From 1769 to 1821. Napoleon was Italian and an opportunist. He was arrested for treason following "Reign of Terror". He reformed French education and discovered the Rosetta Stone.

    From 1777 to 1778 in Pennsylvania. Many died due to the harsh living environment.

    Two battles that took place in September and October. A crucial victory for the Patriots. It was the turning point of the Revolutionary War.

    The Louisiana territory was bought for 15 million dollars from France.

    After a series of broken treaties and unfair treatment, the Dakota reach a boiling point with the Americans. Four Dakota men kill white settlers which eventually leads to war. The war lasted 6 weeks.

    The Dakota people lost the war. In retaliation, the largest execution in American history is executed.

    From 1865 to 1877. Following Lincoln's death, Andrew Johnson became president and introduced the restrictive "Black Codes". Africans and African Americans were free but still have to fight for equality.

    From 1990 to 1991. Also known as Operation Desert Storm. Saddam Hussein, the dictator in Iraq, ordered an invasion on Kuwait.

    al-Qaeda hijacks planes and crashes them.
