First major civilization. Gnomes, dwarves, elves, orcs, halflings, and other human tribes remain loose confederacies and city states. -
950 BCE
Ironsong
Unifactation of northern dwarven clans. Vitrantii conquer the Steppes tribes.Nascent human cultures are absorbed. -
876 BCE
Puio-Gralfin
Coastal halfling tribes unify under the union of Vekky Puio and Gralfi Gralfin. Ironsong dynasty changes to Khavkor dynasty. Khavkors take in west coast halfings in a political move to counter the east coast unity. Southern mountain peoples gain independance from Vitrantii. New warrior priest king expands north. -
763 BCE
Bavzan's People
Elven tribes start to coalesce into small city-states. Trade between them and halflings begin. In the far south, orc warlord Bavzan unifies the five largest bloodlines into an oligarchal nomadic society. Contact is made with the dragonborn of the south. -
700 BCE
Vitrovii, Elven Growth, Opposition
Trade with the mainlands funnels tech and money into the elven homeland. They excel at crafting. Vitrantii give up on conquering the steppes, and instead merges with them in a series of marriages. Now called the Vitrovii Confederacy of human, dwarven, and halflings form in face of the rapidly expanding Vitrantii. Vitrantii pressing into the northern human clans. -
600 BCE
Passings
Khavkor dynasty ends, Kavod replaces it and brings in the southern dwarven clans into the fold. Puio-Gralfin dynasty breaks under economic downturn and warring merchant families. Becomes Chafven in the south and Puigra in the north. Defense confederacy grows as Vitrovii pushes farther north. Human clans in the north fight fiercely, refuse to join confederacy. -
567 BCE
The Schism
The Vitrovii split after civil war between the children of the last queen. Northern clans unity strengthens from fighting off the weakened Vitrovii. Confederacy starts to break off as threat of Vitrovii ends. Elves society slowly develops, racial and familial unity creating several small kingdoms. -
500 BCE
Revelation
In three days, magic amplifies and those with magical talent 'awaken'. Five days later, giant winged cats with the faces of mortals come to the West. They leave, taking sixteen mortals with them. -
Period: 500 BCE to 399 BCE
Chaos
With the introduction of true magic, the world is thrown into turmoil. Kingdoms rise and fall. Dynasties are made and destroyed. The status quo is thrown on itself. Only the elves and orcs seem to not be thrown into absolute turmoil -
400 BCE
Return
Eight of the sixteen return, going to their respective origin's and teaching control and magical theory. -
390 BCE
Reconstruction
Dwarven kingdom reunifies under a King claimed to be descended from the last Ironsong.
The two human empires shattered into multiple small city-states and kingdoms.
Halfling clans in the west form a coalition. Eastern clans retain two old cities.
Elves expand across the three midland masses. -
380 BCE
Change
Half elves becoming a common demographic of kingdoms. Mass migration into the south begins from all races. Orc wars spring up when vast nomadic territory is settled on. -
375 BCE
Dreams
The Eight all have dreams drawing them back to the east, and with them they bring hundreds. Once portal way stations are established in the forming city of Cortena, globalization truly takes hold. The world is introduced to the gnomes, dragonborn, and sphinx. -
350 BCE
Plague
A sickness sweeps through the north, killing 40% of the human population. -
350 BCE
Certona
The Eight establish the magical city of Certona on a mountain in the center of the Eastern Continent. Open to all, this becomes the new center of the world and the city rapidly grows to a size that rivals some small kingdoms. -
320 BCE
Expansion
Dwarves and halflings create a pact, and create a fleet that sails directly west until they hit the eastern continent's eastern shore where they meet the eastern dwarves. By this point, the eastern dwarves are nearly extinct due to some illness that turned the majority infertile. All are welcome, two peoples become one. -
300 BCE
Flight
Dragonborn create a settlement in the west with permission from the southern kingdoms. -
250 BCE
The Second Plague
Another plague sweeps through the west, wiping out 40% of their population. Since half elves were unnafected, many accuse them of trying to gain power. -
Period: 250 BCE to 50 BCE
The Golden Age
Relative world stability leads to a boom in development in all fields. -
1 BCE
The Branding
Certona vanishes, leaving behind a massive explosion and eight great fissures that bore through the world in eight different directions. The massive land shift causes ocean levels to drop and new land to be exposed. Countless die, and the east faces chaos as people try to find out what happened to the great city. Humans and half-elves around the epicenter of the disaster start to change and gain demonic features. These people are called Tieflings. -

Obrinon
The human empire of Thierolant grants independence to it's Baelthriss colony Obrinon to consolidate power in this newly shattered world. -

Change is on the wind, the world is quiet. Humanity is entering it's twilight years, and the elves have entered a new golden age.
