First Full Day in Edmonton
On our first day in Edmonton, the choir kids had a day off to chill and explore the city. We had an easygoing day because we didn't have to perform until the next day. During our day, we watched a few performances at the church we were going to perform at. We also walked around the city visiting the Citadel Theatre, the City Centre Mall and as well as Telus World of Science! It was very cool feeling the change of scenery and exploring the city. -
At the West Edmonton Mall
On our last supposed day in Edmonton, we had a full day to shop and explore the biggest mall in Canada. We stayed there for about 8 hours and by the end of it, all of our feet went numb. During our day at the mall, we went to the waterpark. It was a blast because there was a giant wave pool and so many waterslides. After swimming, we went out to eat and explore different shops. We went to a creepy, haunted collectors shop and even took a train ride across the mall for only 6 bucks!! -
Staying an Extra Day in Edmonton
Due to the road conditions in the surrounding area of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, our drive home had to come to a halt. We spent two extra nights at the hotel to keep us safe. The teachers and chaperones had us go bowling or visit a garden to kill time. Back at the hotel, we did the best we could to make the best of the situation. We watched the Jets game, had a pizza party and Bella even performed a mini concert to Pitch Perfect (haha!). It was a nice day despite the news that day.
