Editing video
During the editing stage so far we have watched through the scenes we have recorded and selecting the footage that would best tell the story we wanted. We first created the beginning and end of the video so that we could stage out what scenes we would fit in between and the timings they would need to be. For the most part of the video we have just used straight cuts for continuity but we may add some different transitions later on in the editing process. -

This train scene we filmed featured two of our group members miming to the chorus of 'Gold' used in our music video. This meant that we had to match up this video perfectly with the timing of the song on Adobe Premier Pro. We placed it at the beginning of the first chorus and moved it until their miming was exactly in time with the lyrics. -

Effects we have added, edge feather, brightness and contrast.
After we added the clips into the timeline we went into the effect controls to add various effects to each sequence. The first effect we chose to add was edge feather which was a border like effect which was black on the outline before fading slightly as it overlapped the edge of the clip. We like this effect as it again adds a vintage-like look to the sequence.
