    The Postwar Booms
The “Postwar Booms” were a huge threat to the U.S. economy. Many things were booming but a huge part of it was called the “Baby Boomers.” After the war, many families rushed to have kids causing a huge increase in children born all over the United States. This lasted from 1945-1960 so the 1950’s were right in the middle and where this all happened. This caused the demand for goods to increase and made the gross national product increase but almost $300 billion.
