Sir Issac Newton
He formulated the gravitational theory which then lead us to further understand how we rotate around our sun and also keep our feet on the Earth instead of floating away. -
Albert Einstein
He discovered general relativity, which is the observed gravitational attraction between masses results from the warping of space and time by those masses. This discovery is important because without it we could have never discovered gravitational waves.
