    The attraction of various particles forming a massive object such as planets, solar systems, or even galaxies. In this case, the planet known as Earth was formed.
  • Period: 45 BCE to 38 BCE

    It was around this time that the Earth was almost fully accumulated. It was then that the planet's surface which was incredibly hot at the time started to cool down. Large amounts of magma and neighboring asteroids, meteors and comets helped in forming the outer core of the planet.

    Around 200 million years after the accretion of the planet, a mini-planet had crashed into the Earth. The word 'crash' is inaccurate it was more a hit obliquely. The debris that fell off the earth when this mini-planet collided with earth added on to the mass of the mini-planet. The mini-planet then got caught into earth's orbit and we now call this mini-planet the Moon.
