3 Years Old
Many three and four year olds can ride a bike with training wheels. They can also stand on one foot, unsupported for maybe 2 or 3 seconds. By this age, they can walk up stares one foot on each stare without having to put both on each step, one at a time. Children this age know as many as 50,000 words and can speak enough to function in society. They may answer who, what, where questions but why isn't fully understanded. However, they do ask frequent questions. -
4 Year Old
At about 4 years old, same sex friendships are formed and they prefer children over adults. They can also tend to be bossy.
Children can also jump and run backwards, and come down stairs. They can put simple pieces to a puzzle together. They also can tell stories with good sentence structure and listen to long stories but misunderstand the facts of that story. -
5 Years Old
At this age children use a wide range of words and express themselves in a varied tone and express when they are emotional. They enjoy sotry time and building towers and realistic items out of blocks or Legos. They can also copy a circle. -
5.5 Years Old
Just after their fith birthday, but before they turn 6, kids this age are getting ready to start their first year of school. However many kids start at 5 years old with Kindergarden, kids now are preparing to learn more and explore more! Photo Credit: Google Image
